About Alexandra

Hi! I'm Alexandra. I am currently in college studying political science and pre-law. I attend Bennington College in Vermont and am back in Texas for the summer. Please let me know if you have any questions :) I'd describe my personality as patient, friendly, and supportive. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy hearing about the lives they've lived. Their stories are always incredibly valuable. I started caring for seniors when I was 17. My grandmother developed dementia, and I acted as one of her primary caregivers until I was 21. I understand how difficult this can be for families due to personal experience. Though, with support, it's possible to manage the disease and keep your family member happy. In my spare time, I like camping and hanging out with my cat. One thing you should know about me is I enjoy taking an artistic approach with seniors. I've learned that painting, drawing, and listening to music helps them relax and occupies their attention.
