About Alessandra

I'd describe my personality as funny, positive and happy. I like tutoring because it involves my love of learning. There is nothing better than seeing a child have a light bulb moment when a subject finally clicks for them or they succeed in reading at a higher level. I'm looking for a job that allows me to have flexibility in the weekends, and during the summer as well. I started tutoring when I started teaching. In my spare time, I like to shop, travel, take my dogs to the dog park and try popular restaurants with my husband. One thing you should know about me is I find the best teaching environment is one where a child feels safe to be vulnerable on their academic struggles. Once they know you're there to support them and not judge them, they do the best learning.
