About Alea

Hi! My name is Alea and I am a current fourth year education major and child development minor at Cal Poly. I am also currently working as an assistant teacher at Country Cottage Preschool in SLO. I've always been passionate about helping children learn and grow and building connections with families! I've been babysitting and working in childcare settings for over four years now and have also completed CPR and First Aid training. I would describe myself as patient, friendly, and easily adaptable. When it comes to keeping the children safe and following household rules, I do so in a gentle but firm way. I enjoy keeping kids engaged with fun, educational activities like outdoor sports, board games, and creative play. I'm also an animal lover and have a car, so I am happy to help with transportation if needed. I'm confident that I can offer a warm, safe, and enriching environment where your children can have fun and feel cared for!
