About Aimee

Hello! My name is Aimee, I am 26 years old from Asheville, North Carolina. I am pursuing my bachelors in Sociology and Masters in History. I have about 10 years babysitting experience, with ages 3 to 12. In addition, I have 3 years of experience working as a garden educator for K-6th grade students in Santa Barbara. I loved for my classes to be based on a collaborative relationship between myself and the students, and focused on child led play and exploration. We spend a lot of the time in the garden playing games, letting our curiosity lead class times as well as using teamwork. With this experience, I am comfortable with more than one child, and feel very comfortable with enforcing boundaries and structure. I am also happy to prepare meals! I am very comfortable around pets, and have a dog of my own. I really love exploring museums together with kids, and spending time in San Francisco's amazing parks. I make things with my hands very often and love making crafts with kids. Cheers!
