About Kalli

I have years of experience, going back to when I used to care for my nephew as a teenager. And before that even, my mom was a child care provider and had up to 12 kids in the house at one point and so I grew up around (and sometimes helped out with in small ways) kids of many personalities and developmental stages. My last professional job in an environment with kids was working at a Montessori here in Oregon for two months (before Covid forced shutdowns). I loved caring for the kids, it was so much fun. Before that, I cared for two kids in Illinois (2 and 4) for two years. I grew and learned so much in that time with them and my crafty/imaginative side really came alive and continues to thrive now with my own son. Some of my favorite things for us to do together are baking, cooking, reading, nature crafts, imaginative play, puppets, and exploring outside. Going on walks and hikes. Personally, I love dancing, cooking, gardening, hiking and spending time with family. :)
