About Abigail

Hi! My name is Abbie. I got my BA in psychology and crim. Justice from Iowa State and am pursuing an online MA in mental health counseling through NYU. I am passionate about learning and teaching the next generation in reading, English, social science, and math up to pre-algebra. I also am available to do pet sitting. I'd describe my personality as warm, fun, and supportive I like tutoring because I like to give back to young students and be a positive role model for them. School can be hard, I'm here to help! I'm looking for a job that is welcoming. I am looking for a job that is willing to make learning fun, engaging, and enjoyable. I started tutoring when I was a junior in high school but I am just getting back into tutoring now that I have graduated college. In my spare time, I like to read, write, and exercise. One thing you should know about me is that I want to make learning fun so that it's as engaging as possible My skills include preparation, patience, and empathy.
