As a caregiver with a decade of experience, I'm passionate about positively impacting children's lives. My time as a summer camp counselor during my college years really taught me the art of juggling children's fun with their needs. I have been a corporate professional in NYC for 8 years now and I'm ready to make a change and be more immersed in my community. I'm patient, creative, organized and I prioritize open communication with parents through their preferred method. When it comes to household rules, I follow the parents' lead. My favorite part of caregiving is meeting children where they are at and learning through their eyes. I'm CPR-trained and willing to help with carpooling and light housekeeping. Abby is the most wonderful, capable, fun, warm and reliable caregiver. Our daughters (3.5 and 4 months) took to her instantly, and we as parents also immediately trusted her. We really can't say enough good things about her. She is very proactive and punctual and a great communicator. When not actively playing with the kids and teaching them new things, Abby helps with light chores and also sees what needs to be done. We are working with Abby regularly several times per week and hope to continue this arrangement for as long as possible. We are so happy to have found her. She genuinely cares about the kids and we appreciate her and her work so much.
