To be honest I don't think a nanny share option is much more expensive than the "quality" daycares out there. I am currently seeking a family to take the place of the current family I'm doing a nanny share with. They have decided to take their child to day care in Clayton (where child care is cheaper) after October. I have been shopping for daycares in case I cant find a family but so far I've not been impressed with what is out there. I'm not excited about my child sleeping on a mat on the floor at 18 months. Or the fact that she may only get one nap when perhaps she needs a bit more. In other words taking your child to daycare completely takes away the individual care, at little to no savings. I'm not sure where you are in Northeast Raleigh--but if you are near Crabtree and want to chat please let me know.
