Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself a bit and maybe there's someone who relates. I am a Navy Vet, married to a Navy Reserve. We have a two year old daughter and we are both full-time students. We moved here in August 2010. My family's in NY, his are here. I seriously have no friends and I find myself being so busy being wife, mommy and student I forget what it was like to have a girl's night. I'm comfortable with moving around because of the military life but I sometimes feel so isolated! Thanks for reading.

Candice-
Definitely understand how that can be tough! Have you looked into local meetups and things you can attend based on your interests? Many time you can find them if you type the name of your city into Facebook search.

I can so relate! Where I live, there's a wife in my husband's unit who organizes a mom's night out about once a month. All the women who attend are military wives, though from several different branches of service. I don't know these ladies very well or even socialize with them very much otherwise, but those nights are really a lot of fun. Maybe you could organize something like that? To piggyback on Katrina's idea, there's also meetup.com.
