We are looking for a toddler to join our wonderful nanny share in Palo Alto. After 1.5 years of a dream arrangement, a parent in the other family is switching to part-time work. Our nanny is beloved by the kids, warm and bubbly, she helps them with sharing and learning manners, there is always lots of laughter.

My son is 19 months. It would be nice to find a match that's around his age, give or take several months, so they are compatible on play and abilities.

Location: At our home in Old Palo Alto, close to Bowden Park and on the other side of Alma from Peers Park. We have a friendly indoor cat.

Timeline: Starting in late November or early December, for about 1 year (we are moving next winter).

Hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm, except for major holidays. You could start or end your day a little earlier than this, but looking for 8-9 hours a day. Flexible on the days of the week, as long as it is consistent.

Pay: Our nanny's take-home pay is $25/hr (total). We pay via Poppins Payroll which includes taxes, so it works out to paying $21/hr. For example, for two 8 hour days you'd pay $366 if you paid via the payroll service (obviously, less if you pay the nanny directly).
