I am currently an education major at Tarleton State University. I am preparing to be certified as an Early Childhood through sixth grade teacher, with a certification in Special Education and ESL. I am looking to gain more experience in teaching, while helping students in a needed subject.

I have been substituting and teaching math across the Middle Schools since early January, and have been normally recommended for multiple long-term positions regarding that subject. I enjoy taking time with the students to understand and not stop until they fully get it, allowing them to be fully comfortable with the lesson.

I perviously worked for The Dallas Independent Schhol District with kindergartens to 3rd and 5th grades as an on-site tutor and mentor via Ameri-Corps encouraging the students to stay engaged in their learning. I supported positive behavior changes and helped fill the gaps in the public education system.
