All Comfort Keepers staff meet the State of Wisconsin HFS-12 background check requirements. Although the State of Wisconsin DOES NOT require us to do this, we choose to. In addition, Comfort Keepers submit themselves to credit checks, motor vehicle reports and random drug tests.
All Comfort Keepers receive initial training in safety, dementia care and HIPPA standards. Comfort Keepers is partnered with Silverchair Learning Systems and has developed online training modules specifically targeted to meet the needs of our Comfort Keeper clients and staff. This on-going training is required of all Comfort Keepers throughout their career with us. Our management staff provides constant supervision of our Comfort Keepers, as well as monitoring of both Client and Caregiver in the home.
