We Assist with:
LIGHT FOOD PREPARATION (Example):
Breakfast- We make toast, eggs, oatmeal.
Lunch- salad, tuna casserole.
Dinner- baked chicken,grilled potatoes.
MEAL PLANNING (Example):
We make menus with healthy suggestions; we also take in consideration the patient's health and what they might be allergic to. For a better example, we will suggest something like cocoa because based on research done by Columbia University in NY, after three months of drinking at least two cups a day, seniors that have tried it, their memory has improved, their blood circulation to the brain has improved, it also lowered inflammation and cleansed their brain. The cocoa that we suggest should be pure cocoa which you can get from any neighborhood health food store. We suggest that you should not mix it with milk because it will cause inflammation but you can use it with almond milk, and rice milk. Or you can have it with yogurt or in your favorite fruit smoothie.
MEDICATION REMINDER (Example):
We help remind the patient when it's time to take their medicine;
we separate the pills into an organizer.
LIGHT HOUSE CLEANING/LAUNDRY (Example):
We help by sweeping the floors, mopping, clean the bathrooms, clean the kitchens.
We also separate the clothes into piles such as whites, lights, and colors and we fold them then put the clothes away.
ORAL AND PERSONAL HYGIENE/DRESSING (Example):
We help remind the patients to brush their teeth and rinse their mouth. We help remind the patient when it's time to take a bath. We groom them by helping with brushing/combing their hair. We lay out their clothes for them and make sure they look neat. We also help them with their shoes and if the shoes have laces, we help with tying them.
RUNNING ERRANDS (Example):
We help take our patients to the store to pick up whatever they may need or want.
RESPITE CARE FOR FAMILY HOMECARE (Example):
We help to relieve the family members by keeping their loved one company so that they can have time to relax, take care of their business and ease their mind or worrying about their loved one.
COMPANIONSHIP/SOCIALIZATION (Example):
We help the patient by taking them outside for a walk, fresh air, and different activities.
DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT (Example):
We help get the patients to all their appointments on time and wait with them. We also will take notes for their loved ones. … show more
