I imagine that eventually we would need someone to take an active role in meal prep as well, which would increase the # of hours. We are trying to encourage VERY LOW carb eating as she has diabetes. She recently lost my grandfather and is willing to make some changes. With no drivier in the house now, it may be part of your responsibilities to run errands and even get her out of the house to appointments. To ease into a routine with her though, it will start as housekeeping. There are no pets and we definitely prefer a non-smoker! There are no signs of dimentia as of yet and she's a tidy person with a cute sense of humor.

I need to add another part-time caregiver to our care team to help with morning and evening transfers to and from bed. Morning shifts are two hours, evening shifts are one hour. We will train you how to use all equipment. I eat with my parents and friends 4/5 days per week who live in the building, so meal prep and light housekeeping are minimal but sometimes necessary. My friends and family who live in our Island oceanfront building are very social, and they pop in for visits throughout the day, along with out-of-town friends who visit regularly.
