We are looking for a great babysitter for our 2 children aged 10 and 2 in Woodbridge, VA. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who does not smoke, who is comfortable with pets and who is CPR certified. If you speak more than one language, that is a plus as we would love our children to learn anew one casually. If you know Spanish, that would be great as we are Latino.

We are a family of 4 living in Park City. We have 2 girls, a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old. Our 3-year-old is enrolled in daycare and requires pick up and drop off, while our 1-year-old is home requiring full time care, but takes 2-3 hours of nap a day. We are looking for a nanny who loves children, enjoys playing with them, reading books with them, setting up various activities to do with them and taking them to explore the outdoors. Most importantly we value a nanny who prioritize safety and who is reliable and shows up on time. In addition to the above, you will be preparing meals for the kids, doing their laundry couple of times a week and ensuring their play areas are tidy. Any previous experience as daycare or school teacher will also be highly valued.

I am currently needing an afternoon-evening-overnight babysitter at my home on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays every other week due to my work schedule.I would need you to prepare an easy meal for the kids those evenings and make sure they get their homework done. We don't have any pets to take care of, but I do have a wood stove that would need to be tended while you are there. This is simple and my son can help you if you need it. Our oldest is 15 and is gone all day and into the evening at school so is not part of the care needs. We also have a 13-year-old that needs help with organization/schoolwork and an 8-year-old that needs light guidance. Both of them need help getting ready, eating dinner and going to various activities. The ideal candidate has childcare experience that can be verified, is reliable, and has reliable transportation. She needs help with weekly showers, handwriting exercises, and medication management. Experience with dementia care, especially dealing with agitation and behavior redirection, is required. The role may include increased hours for overnight stays and short vacations in coordination with our other caregiver. Activities include playing bingo, watching Tangled, and dancing to oldies.
