We have a baby on the way and are looking for a babysitter who can start anytime from now until Aug. Hours are flexible, just looking to get some work done and build a rapport. Ideally this person can be on call starting mid Aug to early Sept and can either do 24 hours, days, or nights. We are happy to work with a few sitters to ensure care. Our son is almost 4, happy, and very social. He has Down syndrome, is nonverbal, and drinks thickened fluids. We use ASL in the home, so while he doesnt speak, he can understand speech and can express himself through sign. He loves cars, dinosaurs, reading, puzzles, and playing outside. I am looking for a babysitter for one 3 yr old boy in your home. I live in Summertown, and will be commuting to Franklin for college. So anywhere along that route would work. College is one night a week (Tuesdays) 6-10 p.m. So care would be before that and after to cover my travel time to and from.

We have 4 children ages 2-12. This job would be to care for our 3 oldest kids (ages 6-12) in the afternoons after school. Grandma takes care of the 2-year-old and will also be at home. We need someone to start by Aug. 11, but can start immediately with flexible hours during summer. Requirements: -Must speak fluent Spanish and would like only Spanish spoken to the children. -This position will include picking kids up from school and taking them to after school activities, so a valid driver's license and good driving record is a must. We will provide a vehicle for transporting the kids around. -Light chores all associated with the kids (cleaning lunchboxes, putting away their clean laundry, helping them pick up at the end of the day). -Preference is for someone young who loves kids and has lots of energy! College students are a great fit.
