His care needs are not extensive, but he will need diaper changes. All his meals are liquid and he drinks them from a special cup. Other than that he just needs supervision and someone to make sure his favorite shows and movies are on. He has a room which has been made safe for him to play in, so there will not be much need for physical transfers.

My mom enjoys gardening, cooking, shopping for specialty foods or unique small stores, seeing new places, & watching sports on TV. She can walk short distances just fine (from parking to stores, within stores, etc) but not too far. An ideal fit will be someone with a lot of patience (Mom is starting to get a little forgetful but not too bad), and willing to chat. Primary activities could include driving to and from grocery stores, helping to get groceries in the house, & acting as driver and companion to go to new places around town. Getting her out of the house, engaging with the world & staying active with a trusted and safe companion a couple of days each week. Could potentially also include short walks with 12-year-old 40-lb Labradoodle.
