About the care needs: I will need someone who speaks spanish, has experience with dementia/alzheimer's, has patience, can be kind, understanding and will engage my mom and encourage her. I am and have been looking for that special person to care for the little person for whom everything I do is for. It's been difficult, but I just see it as I haven't found the person that was meant to join a tiny famiky yet. I am a professional Single mom, who works two jobs and a full-time student. I am a professional and my daughter is my world, so if my encounter when meeting is you canceling at the last minute after scheduling a meeting, that automatically makes me think that my daughter could be stranded at any moment and they wouldn't care, and that's not exceptable. (This has been my experience so far!). Please be professional, dependable, caring, ready to be treated like family, and would treat and protect my daughter as if she was your own. Trust me, we both would treat you the same way.

About who needs care: Stage 4/5 Parkinson's. I need someone who truly understands this disease, and is patient, empathetic and willing to do what my father needs. There is a camera that I peek in on to ensure safety so I always let people know. Recently put on blood thinners so he cannot have a single fall. Has in and out moments with dementia type confusion. Needs much help with medicine reminders, making meals and laundry. He is in depends and so I need someone comfortable in that area as well. This is my only family left and my father means the world to me, so I tend to be quite over protective and will require an interview first. He is also a man of faith so that's a plus if you are as well. If not, that is okay too. Would love to have someone encourage light exercise (like a walk on his rollator) to keep him moving.
