About who needs care: Hi there! We are looking for a caregiver to help out with our mother. She is in her early 50's with ALS. She is totally bed bound and needs help with ADLs and transfers via the hoyer lift. She needs help with bed baths, changing her, and then transferring her to/from bed to chair (vice versa). Thanks! About the care needs: Sometimes it is hard to understand our mom with her speech being affected. We are looking for a new nanny/caregiver to join our family. 20 hours total (likely 1pm-5pm). We are a family of 4(no pets or smoking) and just parted ways with our nanny of 8. 5 years as we no longer need full-time. The primary job will be picking up our child from kindergarten in Hillsborough each day and driving him to activities then back to our house in San Mateo. When he is at home, you'll be interacting with him and providing any homework support. Occasionally, you'll also pick up the fourth grader from the same school and bring her home or drive her to an activity.
