We're looking for a compassionate, warm, patient, and capable caregiver to help my beautiful and aging mother in law. My MIL has decreased mobility and early stage Alzheimer's, and while my father in law is healthy and helping, my MIL needs consistent caregiving help (4 hrs/day, 5x/week). We're looking for someone to help my with personal hygiene (bathing, showering), occasional laundry, daily fresh sheets and trash take out, meal planning/shopping list for the week ahead, some meal prep, light cleaning (dishes, picking up a little bit), bringing my MIL for short walks, and companion care (making tea and chatting, doing activities together (puzzle, knitting, sewing, etc). Someone who is able to anticipate needs and use intuition to choose the right activities to support my MIL in that moment is important.
