About who needs care: Dave is very outdoorsy and active. He mows lawn, drives to get meds, takes his ATV into the woods for rides. He is a diabetic who suffered a stroke a year ago. He cannot grasp things with right hand, but it doesn't stop him. He needs help keeping up on sending insulin to his body through his insulin pump. Sometimes he sleeps through taking meds after coming home from dialysis at noon. He needs someone to make a meal, feed him drugs, and be sure he hears his insulin pump yelling at him. He is hard of hearing and doesn't like hearing aids. About the care needs: He likes someone who is a talker, not shy, someone who can raise their voice, and isn't afraid to "shoot the breeze" and likes cats. He has 4. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
