Interacting with "normal" kids
By Karlene P. on Tue Sep 28, 2010 at 11:09 AM EDT
I have 2 year old twin boys, Ethan and Owen. Ethan has mild cerebral palsy. It affects his right side so he walks different, falls constantly and puts his right arm out, we call it his wing. Labor Day weekend the 4 year old girls were running and Ethan and Owen were trying to keep up; Owen was but Ethan kept falling. I felt so bad for him and wondered what it will be like when he gets older. Will the kids embrace him or leave him behind? How do other kids interact with your kids?
