Our day starts with a very creative art activity, continues with circle time (which is where we learn the calendar, colors, shapes, numbers, and letters), then we head outside for some fun in the sun, and last but not least we do interesting worksheets that are age appropriate. I am a firm believer in educational activities that are interesting, fun, and exciting! The infant room will also be doing many educational activities! The children do an art activity, sing many songs, do lots of dancing, and read stories. We also work with them on their motor and speech abilities, as this is very important in their development. At Shining Stars Daycare we offer a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. We do fun and interesting cooking activities a few times throughout the month and work with children on their table manners. I currently have one openings for the toddler/preschool room and two openings in the infant room. We have two children that will be starting kindergarten at the end of August and one younger child that will be moving to the toddler room, from the infant room. The center's hours are 6:30-5:30, Monday - Friday. The weekly rate is 125.00 per child, which includes all activities and extras. My name is Miss Amanda and I am the toddler/preschool room teacher. I have two years of Early Childhood Education and Care schooling and many years of experience in a daycare setting. I have always loved educating and growing with children.
