Is it your primary or ONLY place for groceries?

I shop at Albertson's. The cost difference isn't much for me, since the produce at our Commissary sucks. I prefer fresh and local food and I can get more of that from the local grocer.

My husband goes there for cat litter and dog food but we shop at Food Lion or Farm Fresh; they are so much closer to us. We are over 30 minutes from NAS Oceana here in VA. At the other two place we were, I never used the commissary much either. Their prices are just ok and if I don't have to spend all day getting out there it's even better.

I love the commissary but I am stationed in the middle of nowhere so it is just easier to no the local Walmart Supercenter.

I prefer our local grocer. They have a wider selection of Organics, and their produce and meats just don't compare. I could go to the commissary to save a little here and there, but I prefer whats better for my family and im willing to pay a little extra for it.

I like the comissary, more than the local Walmarts, which are way too expensive. We have been able to complement this shopping with these new age of supermarkets opening in our area, like Sunflower Farmers Market, which have the best prices I have ever seen in our state for many day to day items.
