I have never worked in a assisted living home but I have taken care of my grandfather. My grandfather had Parkinson's disease, diabetes, and dementia at the end of his life. I help administer his insulin and made sure he ate the right things. I made sure he was active also. I lived with him for 5 years taking care of him.
