Hello,
I'm going to be a first time mom in August and my husband and I both work full time. I've been contemplating leaving my job, because daycare scares me. I'm not sure how I feel about someone else in my home either. Does anyone else have this problem, or have some advise or suggestions? It'd be much appreciated!

My son is 2 years old and I too, was and am scared of daycare. I quit my job to stay home with him. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. If you have the opportunity to stay home with your child, do it. You are much more valuable to your little one than you are at a job.
I just joined care.com to find someone to watch my son while I run errands. I plan on interviewing this person and having her hang out with my son while my husband and I are at home just to watch interactions and get to know her in the beginning. You can never be too careful.
