We are thrilled to offer nurturing and nourishing culinary art and exploration programs to the Little School Chefs! This time we will bring the adventure to you! Cook, color, craft and create with our 'Colors of the Rainbow' enrichment program right from the comfort of The Little School Campus! Students will join us when their school day finishes for a seamless transition into Culinary Artistas explorations! Join us on the first Wednesday of every month from October-May for a special day of cooking, playing, creating, and tasting! We will explore the power of our two hands with delicious, colorful recipes, inspired by the best seasonal produce, sparking children's curiosity. Kid-chefs will get to craft their own hearty, homemade after school snacks, explore STEAM activity centers, spend time outdoors, create fun food-inspired art projects and much more! We will also work together to create a show about our mysterious experiences to share with friends and families on the last day. This is a wonderful camp for kids who love solving puzzles and riddles. Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 2:30 - 3:00pm. Come spend the Monday mornings at JAMaROO with this fun class combo. Arrive as early at 9:30 to play in the space, take the arts and crafts class from 9:45-10:15, and do music & movement from 10:15-10:45, followed by an 15 additional minutes of free play from 10:45-11! 9:45-10:15 Art & Storytime Come enjoy Art and Storytime, and save the mess for us! Our Art classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll Explore different art mediums while fostering speech and language development and exploring textures, colors and shapes! 10:15-10:45 Music & Movement Our music classes have been created to work on fostering all 5 key areas of development in early childhood education: Cognitive, Speech and Language, Fine and Gross motor development and social emotional. In classes we'll sing traditional songs and also sing original JAMaROO Kids songs created by our own team. Many songs will focus on the alphabet, building vocabulary, and basic math skills. We will begin to explore basic music theory by introducing children to fun characters such as Octave the Octopus! Each month our curriculum will change to ensure children stay excited about class and are always learning something new while providing them with enough repetition to master new skills and vocabulary. This session, we will focus on fun on the Farm, Forest Animals, and the Rainforest!
