About Sports: Each day features 7 games tailored by age group. Continue your practice in traditional sports such as basketball, flag football, soccer, and volleyball. Additionally, play new and creative games like bubble soccer, black light dodgeball, gaga ball, and ultimate ball, just to name a few. Spark your child's athletic desire! More than Just Sports: With the GrowFit staff, our camp isn’t just about picking up a ball or swinging a bat. From the best of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and today, we’ll be celebrating each decade with a crazy fun way to play! GrowFit camps will plunge themselves into the past and play hard with awesome games based on each decade! Logistics Drop-off: 8:45-9:00 am at the multi-purpose room, through the blue arch. Late drop-offs are permissible. Pick-up: 3:45-4:00 pm at the same location. Early pick-ups are acceptable. Lunch & Snacks: For allergy precautions, please pack a lunch labeled with your camper's name and 2-3 wholesome snacks. Venue: GrowFit boasts both indoor and outdoor facilities. Outdoor activities are contingent on weather conditions and occur on the field and playground. Sun Protection: Please apply sunscreen before drop-off. We also supply sunscreen for reapplication. Kindly inform the camp manager of any sensitivities. Hydration: Kindly pack one or two cheap water bottles. Attire: We recommend athletic clothing, shoes, and a hat. For younger children, please bring an extra set of clothing in the event of accidents. Refunds and Cancellations: Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the camp date will be eligible for a full refund minus a 10% cancellation fee. For cancellations occurring within 30 days of the camp start date, we are pleased to offer a credit for future participation in our camp. This session students will explore three different types of medium. We will be focusing on terminology and technique as well as a little bit of art history. Students will have a fun exploring the mediums while they improve their hand-eye coordination, problem solving skills, and confidence in their mark-making. Each session provides new projects and different approaches to mediums so that students can continue classes throughout the year and build on exploring, techniques, foundations, and terminology.
