You'd be hard pressed to find anything a child loves more than glitter. And nothing a parent likes to have in the house less. That's what we're here for! Come to Rachel's Young At Art Studio to get that sparkle fix in. During this hour long program, we only put out crafts full of glitz and glamor. We have glitter paint, glitter glue, you name it! We will make glitter slime. We will even do some art experiments with prisms to see how they gleam in the light. Rainbows and glitter go hand in hand, don't they?

Start your weekend off right with us! Drop your children off for a single Friday afternoon or register them for a renewing discounted monthly membership for quadruple the fun. For three hours every Friday, we open the studio up to children ages 2.5 to 10 years old to play, create, and grow, both emotionally and socially, together in a safe and supportive environment. Our attentive, nurturing, and passionate instructors will keep your child engaged both mentally and physically so that your children can increase their confidence and self-esteem in a creative way. Plus, they'll learn essential life skills, like teamwork and communication, that will only benefit them in their future. The first Friday of each month, the last hour of Friday Afternoon Club will overlap with Kids' Night Out, which goes from 530pm-8:30pm. All children are artistic! Our program simply presents them with the tools to develop visual perception in a fun and energetic way! Watch your child benefit from an early exposure to art and movement. While you are building your relationship with your children, they are unknowingly improving their motor skills, developing their language, and strengthening their problem solving and critical thinking skills. As they discover new media, like clay and paint, for the first time, they are gaining awareness of the world around them, making their own inventive decisions, and gaining a sense of autonomy.

This class provides your artist with a more formal introduction to the wonderful world of creative expression. Teachers present inventive art instruction and projects using professional media. Students unknowingly learn to incorporate basic principles of art and design into their projects as they make observations from nature as well as create purely from their imaginations. Hello Beginners Edge Sports Training or BEST SPORTS Parents, This is the Office of Beginners Edge Sports Training. We will be starting your players sports class session soon. Many questions come up before a session so we figured we would write this and send it out to assist everyone. I would keep this somewhere safe so you can refer to it. What equipment do I bring? a) For Soccer - Bring a soccer ball. • Under 3 Size 1 • 3 Years - 5 years Size 2 • 5 Years- 8 years Size 3 • 8+ Size 4 or larger b) For Baseball – Bring a Hitting T, Bat and a few whiffle/tennis balls. No hard balls please. • What Type of Hitting T? Anything you want to afford. They all break. Kids destroy things – it is in their nature, you just have to decide how much do you want to spend to replace it. See Amazon for MANY price choices. Yes, Little Tykes is fine. c) For Basketball – Bring a Basketball • What Type of Basketball? Anything but not a mini! You know the ones the size of a slightly larger Softball. Nothing Smaller than 7”. A Junior Basketball 25.5” is great for 5+. Then as your kids get older look to move to 27.5+ I am part of a Multi-Sport Class. What Sport is this week? For Multi-Sport we always start with Soccer. Please see your online schedules for dates and sports on our website. These are always on our website and updated often. Beginners Edge Sports Training is a Contract Program and follows and abides by all City Parks and Rec rules that were agreed to upon your registration. In a nutshell, the rule typically is, if you miss it, you miss it, but always check with your Park and Rec Center or Registration form for a more “official” answer. REGISTERED THROUGH B.E.S.T. DIRECTLY: • We do schedule make up classes based on availability. • We do carry over make-up classes to future sessions you are registered in. • Missed classes have NO $ Value and are not creditable. • You can schedule a make up class AFTER the 1st week of the Session.
