Dive into the dynamic world of illustration! This camp blends traditional and mixed media techniques to help teens bring their creative ideas to life. Campers will explore storytelling, and visual narrative as they experiment with a variety of materials like ink, markers, colored pencils, pastels, and paints. Along the way, students will refine their skills in composition, proportion, and detail, creating unique illustrated works that express their personal style. The curriculum for Teen Camp includes both self-paced and instructor-directed art-making. The daily activity schedule comprises a full day of art-making, with breaks taken at the student’s discretion. Parents are responsible for providing snacks and lunch. Advanced Exploration (ADEX) students who have completed the prerequisites will also have the opportunity to be more independent, allowing them to design and work on self-directed projects. Extended Care: Extended care is available during the following time periods: 8-9 am, 3-4 pm, and 4-5 pm at $65 per hour for five days per week or fewer. You may also customize your extended care schedule at $17 per hour or portion of an hour for one or more days.
