Our destinations include hiking in the Mountains, diving in the Great Barrier Reef, going on a Safari in Africa, or sledding in the North Pole. Developmental Playgroups Age Group: 1-3 years Our Developmental Playgroups are offered in 9 week sessions, with the next cycle running from January 14 – March 11, 2025. These playgroups are free of charge and are designed for children ages 12 to 36 months (or possibly younger) and their caregivers. Led by a trained facilitator, each session provides a structured, guided play environment tailored to meet the developmental needs of the children in the group. Move, sing and dance with Teacher Jane at JAMaROO Kids Cow Hollow! Come clap your hands, stomp your feet, and shake your hips to the rhythm and the beat! In the JAMaROO Kids Music & Movement classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn original ones too (many written by our own teachers). Our music curriculum has been developed to spark creativity and incorporate imaginative play. Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Throughout the year, our teachers will use a variety of simple instruments and introduce children to different genres of music from around the world. Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination. Our teachers will use bean bags, scarves, shakers, rhythm sticks, and other equipment to make classes more interactive and hands-on. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music, dance, and yoga curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. Have you ever wanted to dance with a fairy? Or listen to knock-knock jokes from a gnome? Then this is the camp for you! Kiddos are invited to transform into a character that lives in the Magic Garden– and our guided pretend play will allow everyone to step into the story and explore. Through costumes, crafts, music and puppets we will bring the Magic Garden to life! Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 2:30 - 3:00pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. This bag will be filled with enchanted projects, art materials, audio and video links and anything your kiddo might be missing in class. Please email us ahead of time and let us know if you need to miss and would like an at-home camp bag! Photography Notice: We love to share the joy of our experiences on SmugMug and social media! This class is great for those who simply want to discover a new language, reinforce language in a bilingual household, or expose their little to the many amazing cultures that make up our country! Each month, we’ll focus on a different seasonal curriculum that incorporates the use of puppets, books, and other props to maximize the educational experience and keep classes fun and exciting! Using our curriculum, we will encourage both English and Spanish vocabulary, singing in both languages, and identifying objects and characters in English and Spanish as well! Through movement activities, children will build gross motor skills, directly encouraging strength, balance, and coordination.
