In class, children go on a yoga adventure using their imaginations and the art of storytelling to help navigate through yoga poses. Our destinations include hiking in the Mountains, diving in the Great Barrier Reef, going on a Safari in Africa, or sledding in the North Pole. On our journey, we play yoga games, sing yoga songs, and practice breathing techniques. Our goal is to give young children a developmentally appropriate way to explore yoga poses, mindfulness and social emotional learning. In this class, children will work on developing and strengthening the following: Speech and language skills, Cognitive development, Creative thinking, Problem solving, Team work, Concentration, Listening Skills, Yoga Poses, Balance, Coordination, Flexibility, Strength, Social Emotional Learning, Breathing techniques, and Self Calming skills In this yoga class, "parent-tot" means that parents can participate alongside their child, or watch from the side, depending on the comfort level of the child. 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes before your class, and stay up to 15 minutes after your class ends, to explore our space with your littles! We simply ask that you adhere to the 15 minute windows before and after out of respect for the previous class, and the following class. Come spend Wednesday at JAMaROO with this fun class combo. Save the mess at home, and let us provide your little with the fun sensory experiences that are so important to their development! 12:15-12:45 Baby Music Our Baby Music Classes for infants and young toddlers provides an opportunity for parents and/or caregivers to sing and dance with their little ones to build and strengthen connections. Music supports and nurtures all areas of child development: Social-emotional, Cognitive, Language and Literacy, as well as both areas of physical development, fine and gross motor development. During these classes, we’ll sing traditional songs and learn many new ones, often using fun visual props to help support language development and symbolic thinking. Most of our staff has extensive background in Early Childhood Education, intentionally exposing children to a rich variety of language, beats, and sounds while remaining developmentally appropriate. Farm Camp is run from our 1-acre school farm in the Mission Terrace neighborhood. We provide an opportunity for children to connect with nature while directly participating in the daily rhythms of farm life. Our day camp is designed to inspire a connection with and love of the natural world, and also a chance to get hands dirty in fun and educational ways. Activities include animal care for our chickens, weeding, watering, mulching, harvesting, compost care, crafts and free play. Children should bring snacks and lunch and come prepared to get dirty!

Puppet shows are back! Join us once a month on Saturday mornings as we take kiddos on a story-time adventure with puppet pals Sneaky Pete, Tom the Rat, Meowzers, plus some new special guests! There will also be theater and movement games, dancing, and singing. Caregiver is required to stay.
