Middle & High School Art Program Overview: Unlocking Creativity Through Core Art Foundations Our Middle & High School Art Program is designed to foster creativity and build essential skills through a sequential and cyclical curriculum. This ongoing class seamlessly extends our Middle & High School Art Program, continuing from summer into the school year and cycling back each season. It provides a consistent, year-round art education journey for students. Jump in anytime! By progressively exploring the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design, students not only learn art techniques but also develop a deep appreciation for art history. Here's what our young artists will explore: Foundational Concepts: Dive into the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create visually compelling pieces. Drawing Skills: From observational and perspective drawing to life and figure sketches, students refine their ability to represent the world around them. Students will explore a diverse range of dry media, including graphite, oil pastels, chalk pastels, charcoal, and ink. Composition and Color: Learn the intricate concepts of 2D composition and color theory to enhance artistic expression. Painting Techniques: Experiment with various media such as acrylics, watercolors, gouache, learning manipulation techniques that bring ideas to life. Art History: Travel through time exploring influential artists, both historical and contemporary, to understand their impact on the art world and society. Class Requirements Minimum age requirement for this class: Students must be enrolled in at least 6th grade for the 2025/26 school year to participate in this class.

This week we're putting our illustrative skills to the test as we recreate this enchanting sun and moon design. Students will embrace the concept of line to capture expression in this step by step project, sharpening their drawing skills before running wild with color. Focusing on design and composition, their art will shine with this illuminating caricature of celestial bodies.

Winter Semester (January-Mid March) Homeschool students work on different art techniques and creativity through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Small art class sizes allow for each child to get one on one attention and give them the opportunity to interact with others. In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

Unleash their inner Picasso! Through a variety of styles and media, your child will explore tactile and visual artistic stimulation in our process-based art program. Drop-off Art is for children developmental ages 3-6. This registration is for an 8-week session. Child may register for Sunday 9:45-10:30 Drop-off Music and 10:30-11:15 Drop-off Art to have a combined 1.5 hour drop-off time with one class moving directly to the next.

When school is out, creativity is in! Join us for a fun-filled Day-Off Art Camp, designed for children on days when public schools are closed. Kids will explore their creativity through hands-on art projects guided by experienced instructors in a supportive, inspiring environment. Campers can choose from two session options: Half Day: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Full Day: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Each morning and afternoon features a unique, age-appropriate art project using a variety of materials and techniques. Whether your child joins for a few hours or the whole day, they’ll stay engaged, learn new skills, and bring home their own original artwork. All materials provided. Pack a nut free snack for the morning and a nut free lunch if staying for the full day!

Bathroom Independence: Children must be fully independent in using the bathroom to attend classes without adult supervision. If a child requires assistance in the bathroom, a parent or guardian must be present during the class.
