Spring Semester (Mid March-May) Exercise the imagination at the ART House. This class is designed for preschool children aged 4 and 5 to introduce them to art and proper classroom behavior. In this class they will work on fine motor skills through creating art! Your child will practice using scissors, holding a pencil and paint brush, and much more through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Classes are limited in sizes so sign your child up today!

RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 3 HOURS IN ADVANCE (this class will not be visible after that time) as materials must be prepared in advance. There is a $5 supply fee if you do not cancel your reservation at least 1 hour in advance and do not attend class. This is especially enforced if there is a full class. You may need to call or email to inform us of cancellations. Thank you for your understanding. Focusing on process over product, children will get to express themselves while using various art mediums and themes. Classes include story time with a snack. With spring on the rise, we're welcoming some warmer weather with this delicate butterfly sculpture. Spring Semester (Mid March-May) This class is recommended for ages 12+ who have a basic knowledge of drawing, anime, and some experience with digital art. Digital Art Supplies REQUIRED. iPad with Apple Pencil preferred. Class is taught using the program Procreate for Apple iPad, which is strongly recommended. Other programs may suffice, but we cannot promise a 1:1 comparison of lessons for any other programs used. Experience in procreate preferred but not required. We will study what makes a cartoon "anime," different methods, techniques, and all the formal elements you need to create your own anime art and characters. Middle & High School Art Program Overview: Unlocking Creativity Through Core Art Foundations Our Middle & High School Art Program is designed to foster creativity and build essential skills through a sequential and cyclical curriculum. This ongoing class seamlessly extends our Middle & High School Art Program, continuing from summer into the school year and cycling back each season. It provides a consistent, year-round art education journey for students. Jump in anytime! By progressively exploring the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design, students not only learn art techniques but also develop a deep appreciation for art history. Here's what our young artists will explore: Foundational Concepts: Dive into the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create visually compelling pieces. Drawing Skills: From observational and perspective drawing to life and figure sketches, students refine their ability to represent the world around them. Students will explore a diverse range of dry media, including graphite, oil pastels, chalk pastels, charcoal, and ink. Composition and Color: Learn the intricate concepts of 2D composition and color theory to enhance artistic expression. Painting Techniques: Experiment with various media such as acrylics, watercolors, gouache, learning manipulation techniques that bring ideas to life. Art History: Travel through time exploring influential artists, both historical and contemporary, to understand their impact on the art world and society. AMERICAN ART PARTY Join us for an afternoon of art that is fun and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will create a painting of a cowboy boot inspired by the style of impressionist artists. Paintings are made using acrylic paint on canvas board. Our school year curriculum for ages 7 to 10 emphasizes form and composition. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. There is a one-time, pre-requisite Online Form Class each student who is just starting Fine Art Fundamentals must complete by the third week of classes. This class teaches students about form, values and composition. You will be notified to sign up for this class if this is the first time your child is taking this class. Unleash their inner Picasso! Through a variety of styles and media, your child will explore tactile and visual artistic stimulation in our process-based art program. Drop-off Art is for children developmental ages 3-6. This registration is for an 8-week session. Child may register for Sunday 10:30-11:15 Drop-off Art and 11:15-12:00 Drop-off S.T.E.M. PlayLab to have a combined 1.5 hour drop-off time with one class moving directly to the next.
