In our upcoming art class, we will be creating pieces inspired by the vibrant and expressive abstract works of Alma Thomas, a pioneering African-American artist celebrated for her unique style and impactful legacy. We'll explore Thomas’s signature use of joyful, mosaic-like patterns and bright, precise brushstrokes, which she derived from her appreciation of nature and the cosmos.
