In Music 1, children will delight in the sound of instruments, and “singing” through musical baby talk. They'll enjoy being sung to, experiencing new sounds and the anticipation of surprise! Where they are: Your little one is communicating, sharing opinions (probably mostly ‘no’), and showing interest in their first friends! They can do new things like walk backwards, jump, and balance on one foot. What to expect in class: Our play floor comes to life with trips to the grocery store, eating pizza, finding animals, and even bugs! We’ll use creativity and imagination in all activities. Throw a pretend party, imagine a wild trip to outer space, or pretend to be an ant in a bug’s world...we’ll transform our playscape into a whole new world!

Our Level 2 Ballet class is designed for beginner dancers ages 9-12 who are ready to develop a strong foundation in ballet technique. This class introduces fundamental ballet movements, body alignment, while focusing on flexibility, and coordination. Dancers will build confidence as they learn classical ballet steps, in a welcoming and fun environment. What This Class Involves: -Learning fundamental ballet positions, movements, and terminology -Practicing barre exercises to build strength, balance, and flexibility -Developing coordination and technique through center work and across-the-floor combinations -Exploring musicality, grace, and artistic expression in movement -Encouraging focus, discipline, and confidence in a supportive environment

Our Level 1 Ballet class is a wonderful introduction to the technical style of ballet. Suited for young dancers ages 6-8 with little to no experience, this class focuses on building a strong foundation in ballet technique while fostering a love for movement. Through fun and structured exercises, students will learn basic ballet positions, posture, and coordination in a supportive and encouraging environment. What This Class Involves: - Learning fundamental ballet positions and movements, such as pliés, tendus, and relevés. - Developing posture, balance, and body awareness. - Practicing coordination and graceful movement through center and across-the-floor exercises. - Introducing basic musicality and rhythm through ballet combinations. - Encouraging creativity and self-expression with storytelling and imaginative movement.

More adventures come to life through imaginary play in this multi-age play class. A perfect opportunity for siblings to experience class together, or for children to practice more diverse social skills like leadership and peer modeling.

Light Up The Night Concert Presented by The Broadway Star Project Benefiting the Be A Friend Project Be part of an unforgettable two-day experience designed to elevate your talent, ignite your passion, and help create a kinder world through the arts. Now in its second edition, Light Up the Night honors the talent and legacy of kindness of Aidan Duver by bringing together the two communities where he felt most at home and made others feel the same: The Broadway Star Project and the Be A Friend Project. Together we’ll put on a fabulous show at Chelsea Stage + Table with solo performances, and create, record, and shoot a music video, of a powerful new anthem for kindness and anti-bullying song. This unique experience includes:     •    Personalized training with top vocal coaches, directors, and creatives who will guide and challenge you to grow as a performer     •    Recording the group anthem “Be a Friend” with fellow rising stars at Platinum Sound Recording Studios—a legendary space where artists like Lady Gaga, Shakira, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber have recorded.     •    Participating in a promotional music video     •    A live performance at Chelsea Table + Stage, featuring your solo and the group number—performed for an audience of friends, family, and special industry guests. This event proudly supports Be A Friend Project, a national not-for-profit 501 c3 organization working to end bullying, save lives, and build kinder communities through empathy, education, and the arts. Get creative with puppets and dramatic play; and let the inspiration flow making one-of-a-kind works of art! Benefits: Physical: Working with different textures supports sensory input, fine motor, and gross motor skills. Cognitive: Creating your own work supports confidence and problem-solving skills. Social: Not only are children learning social skills by sharing a work space and creating with others, they are also able to express themselves through another outlet before they have the verbal capacity to do so. During separation time we will focus on fine motor skills, pre-writing skills, and dexterity (like threading a bead on a string). Cognitive: Problem-solving, reasoning, and play all support your child’s brain development during this class. Social: Practice social skills necessary for school readiness in a safe and playful way! Collaboration, turn-taking, and sharing are all practiced during our class with and without our adult guides.
