Each session we will focus on a new medium , creating amazing works throughout the 4 weeks. This is an introduction to artistic forms and skill-building within many mediums, creating frameworthy fun projects throughout the year. For my age 10+ KVArteests, we work in oil paints on projects each artist chooses with my input. This is a class for those with enough art experience or can-do attitude to work largely independently.

This year, in "Art In Nature", we will study 8 artists who are famous for their depictions of nature. Our fine art projects will include drawing in graphite and colored pencil; painting in acrylic and watercolor; sculpting in foam clay; blending with oil pastels; scratch board; as well as mixed and multi-media work. September:  Drawing, Pen & Ink, and Watercolor with Audubon October: Watercolor Pencil & Composition with Goldworthy November: Oil Pastel and Reflection with Monet January: Black and White Scratch Board animal art with Rosseau February: Landscape Watercolor painting with Bierstadt and Cole March: Oil Pastel and Color Theory with Thiebaud  April: Drawing & Acrylic Painting with Hokusai May: Mixed Media Landscape and Underwater with Wyland
