If I could, I'd spend 24/7 with animals. Who wouldn't?

I have always, understandably, preferred the company of animals over people, and being able to spend time with them will always provide me with the serotonin boost I need. I have worked at an animal rescue shelter in South Africa for 3 years, and have been a volunteer there for even longer. During my time there, I had been expected to care for the animals, make sure they are all happy and healthy, fed, hydrated, and walked, as well as sometimes help bathe them. I also have experience as a pet sitter, though, due to my studies, those were few and far between. However, each time has felt so rewarding, as had my time spent at the shelter, working with both cats and dogs, both young and old- though I do have more experience with kittens than adult cats, but I have a cat of my own, so I do at least have an understanding of taking care of these self-sufficient creatures.
I also have experience with dog training, somewhat, as the rescue shelter had a dog trainer come in on the weekends for puppy training with first-time puppy owners, and he'd also teach the volunteers some techniques, with regards to behavioural corrective training, and calming techniques.
