Hi, I’m Mata :) My husband and I have just moved to New Plymouth as he has started a new job here. I have a background in Primary and Early childhood education and my last job was academic administration in the School of Media Arts at Wintec in Hamilton. I am currently looking for work and while I’ve had free time I’ve been exploring the city and going for lots of walks. I come across lots of lovely people daily walking their dogs and always stop to say hello and meet the dogs, have cuddles and chat with the owners about their pets. This got me thinking that for those that may not have the time or opportunity to walk their dogs, I might be able to help! A lot of my friends and family have dogs and I am such an animal lover! I have 2 cats and would love to add a dog to our family one day! Pets always seem to be drawn to me and feel safe and happy in my company, and I have the time to help care for animals so this brought me here :) I’m 34, non-smoker, bubbly and kind, and look forward to meeting new pets and friends.
