| Dear owners My name is Merilyn and I'm 24, from Brazil. I have recently moved to Christchurch where I will stay for one year under a working holiday visa. In Brazil my family owns a vet clinic/groomers so I have grown up around dogs and pets, small and large, friendly and feral. I have been working as a dog walker and a cat sitter since I was 14 so in 2021 I decided to travel the world through my passion for pets, since my cat and god passed away and all of a sudden there was nothing else holding me in Brazil anymore. I became a full time house sitter alongside my partner. We live full time at other people's homes taking care of their pets. We have plenty of reviews on other platforms to share with you. We have so many bookings in Christchurch that we will stick around in the area for the this following year. I am responsible, easy going, caring, and I take my job seriously. I can offer pet sitting as daily visits, I can stay overnight or do a proper full time pet and house sit for any amount of period, dog walking, or any other arrangements. Checking in on cats who prefer space. I am a qualified home based educator for human infants, and toddlers, I bring the same respect, aroha, care and compassion from that role to cat minding.

| I grew up with cats, and have owned my own cats for the past 4 and a half years, as well. I am confident with feeding them, brushing them, applying flea treatment, and giving oral medication. I also have attended an animal behaviour course about cats, to learn how to support them to live their best lives. Trust that I will go over and above to care for your kitty, and will often take extra time to play or give pats/snuggles if your cat is in the mood.

Courtney is a firm believer in having cats cared for in their own homes as they are home bodies who enjoy human company (sometimes on their own terms!), and can be easily spooked by new surroundings or sudden change. It also allows for daily routines to be upheld in the owners absence which also prevents unnecessary stress or anxiety.
