Elderly Care in Burwood

| I moved to here 3 years ago. To help my mum and pop. As pop had bowel cancer. He passed in April 2018. I cleaned and changed pop. Feed him when he didn't have the energy, to do it himself. Did housework, cooked, took mum and pop out for a drive, did there shopping. And sometimes made them laugh. Thank you for your time.

| I do not have experience with care for elderly however I am quick to make meaningful relationships with those I meet. I am friendly, calm, patient, and able to work on my own. I am a Teacher (trained in Primary) however most schools are not yet opened. I have a full license and my own transport. I have great referees.

| I have had about two years experience in elderly care, I have worked in a Rest home environment and am currently working in Residential homes providing care to people who have Intellectual Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and also Aged Care. I am well experienced in all areas and I am comfortable providing personal cares to people, Cooking or cleaning I am happy to do it all. I believe in making the person I am caring for or supporting feel comfortable and It is always my goal to keep their dignity as I understand It can be difficult to trust and allow a person to care for you. This is more than just a job for me, I enjoy the personal aspect of caring/supporting people and I always take great pride in what I do. I have a current first aide certificate and I am studying my NZCHW L2.
