I have the pleasure of owning a Siamese cat. He is 4 years old very vocal and requires a lot of maintenance. I also grew up with 3 cats in one household prior to this and so I consider myself excellent with cats. I love dogs and i am looking into getting one in the near future but my partner thinks i should just care for other people's dogs until we can afford to take care of one. I have my own car so I can take your dog on lovely beach walks or more distant parks if they so desire.
