Hello! I am a master's student in NZ and I'm very much missing my dogs and cats back home. This as a job is exciting for me because I get to hang out with all the fur babies and make sure they have a cosy, lovely, fun-filled time. I already have started pet sitting in New Zealand; taking care of my homestay family's black cat while they are away, or even on a day-to-day basis just giving her food and water and cuddles (and cleaning up after her if she gets a little emotional and has an accident). I also pet sit for a family friend of my landlords - they have two middle-aged small dogs. I have done overnight sits for them a couple of times and do regular walks with them. One overnight was when one dog was in heat and I managed to keep them apart, but still keep them very happy as they are not spayed/neutered yet.
