I have had about two years experience in elderly care, I have worked in a Rest home environment and am currently working in Residential homes providing care to people who have Intellectual Disabilities, Physical Disabilities and also Aged Care. I am well experienced in all areas and I am comfortable providing personal cares to people, Cooking or cleaning I am happy to do it all. I believe in making the person I am caring for or supporting feel comfortable and It is always my goal to keep their dignity as I understand It can be difficult to trust and allow a person to care for you. This is more than just a job for me, I enjoy the personal aspect of caring/supporting people and I always take great pride in what I do. I have a current first aide certificate and I am studying my NZCHW L2.
