Hello, my name is Melaraena , I am 22 years of age and I am very passionate about working and helping the elderly whether it may be participating in activities that they enjoy doing or simply helping them via feeding, dressing or bathing. I spend a lot of time with my grandmother and I honestly love the atmosphere of being around her. Doing something for someone else and being able to put a smile of their face is the best feeling ever. I am confident and self-driven and love spending time with others and having a good conversation. I volunteer at Elizabeth Knox Home & Hospital where I am able to show good active listening skills and spending time with the elderly and getting a better perspective of life. My ultimate goal in life is to be able to make a positive difference in my community and I believe that my skills and experience with working and taking care of elderly gives me the confidence that I will be a good candidate for the role of taking care and being patient with many others.
