Hi there! I am a trained and experienced early childhood teacher. I have been in the industry for 9 years before having my own pēpi. I am currently on maternity leave with my 9 month old. Before this I was team leader of a local early childhood centre here in Whangarei. I am passionate about caring for young children and my expertise is in the under 2s age group. Now having my own, I wish to provide care from my home where I can nurture your little one through care and play in the safe space that I have created for my own pēpi. I value the importance of nurturing relationships that support our children to feel secure and confident, and invite them to follow their curiousities and explore at their own pace through play. I will ensure your child feels a sense of belonging in my home and create a beautiful environment that invites play and sparks wonder. I am an advocate for time in nature and enjoy getting outdoors. I attend mainly music once a week. If this is something you would be interested in I would like to include your child in these experinces too.
