My name is Portia, I have been involved with children since my early teen years - swim coaching, and surf life-saving - and have worked as an ECE teacher for 9 years. I currently work as a support worker for our homeless community in Wellington. I have a lot of experience with children from 6 months to 13 years and am very flexible with different ages. I offer help with a range of things. I can happily prepare meals, do basic housework, take children to and from activities, run errands, etc. Happy to spend the day with children, and the evenings as I have a fair amount of experience supporting children to sleep. I love spending time with children and filling their days with moments of joy and support. Adore pets of all kinds. Apart from my full-time job, I am also studying for my social work degree!
