I am a Nursing Student at AUT and have been a nanny for a local family for just under 2 years. I was involved in picking the youngest up from school at 2:50 for 3pm pick up. Then picking up the two older girls from the bust stop at 4pm. Tasks I was required to do: Dropping to Gymnastics, Netball pick up/drop off, General House Clean Up, Birthday Party’s, Play Dates with Friends, Orthodontist Appointments, GP clinic, Extra Curricular Learning centre drop off, Helping the kids with homework (spelling, worksheets, posters etc.). Over the school holidays sometimes I would do extra hours and take the kids out to the Mall, Jump, Rainbows End, Movies, Pool Party’s etc. Additionally to this family I babysit lots of local families with kids age between 15 months and 14+ years. Additionally I can do laundry and dinner prep etc. I also have my own car and full license.
