As an ex- Primary school teaching, I have considerable experience looking after children and managing their wellbeing, growth and learning. I was a full-time primary teacher managing new entrants/ year 1 for over 7 years and then I had my family. I went back teaching (part time), remaining within the junior school. Here I continued to managed individual learning within a classroom environment; however, I also took on responsibility for the development of special needs programmes for children needing addition support. My teaching career spanned 26 years at the one school, illustrating commitment, reliability and resilience. We have spent the last 4 years in Brisbane with my husband’s work, where instead of teaching I started nannying. Nannying provides me great joy as I work alongside parents supporting them with their children's care and well-being. The ages of the children ranged from newborn through to a 7 years old. I have loved being a part of these families and nannying as it allows me to continue working with children and help support families with their journey.
