I have 2 years experience working in childcare centres in Canada, both at a pre-school aged site (2-4 years old) and a school aged site (5-12). I have been babysitting consistently for children of varying ages (4-12) since I was 15. I was a live-in nanny in Oamaru, NZ for 6 months during the pandemic, caring for 3 children (18 months, 7 years and 9 years) where I cooked, cleaned, created activities, drove children to extracurriculars, homeschooled the older kids, and bathed the toddler, as well as putting him down for naps and spending entire days caring for him. I lived with a single mother and her 5 children (4-12 years old) in Hawai'i, where I had essentially all of the same duties as in Oamaru. I have also been a babysitter in Christchurch, and built great relationships there. I am currently a regular nanny for 9 year old twins, a 6 year old, and a toddler. I will be transitioning to Auckland in early September.
