Since I was 14 years old, I have had to be very independent and learn to take care of myself, after my mother passing when I was 13 years old. Due to this, I decided to take on jobs of helping other mothers with helping them with extra hands around the house. Therefore, on a Weekly basis I babysat for a family down the road from my home. I ended up being the ‘Herne Bay Baby Sitter’ and had up to four nights a week taking care of children from different families. Babysitting involves a mature and independent reliability to take care of young kids with different needs. Over the years of experience, I have taken pride in being responsible for kids and want to make them feel as happy and comfortable as they can. Happiness in children is my main priority. However, along with this I have taught myself to be Proficient in cooking meals for children as per employer’s instructions, and have a OCD for making sure all mess is tided up and taken care of. I love creating new relationships with kids and making feel safe and happy being around a new person. I learnt that in babysitting, having patience and control is very important.
